If the Villa that I rent is
not directly on the beach, how busy is the road that divides the Villa
Complex that I need to cross when I go to our Villas own Private Beach
and the Atlantic Ocean across the street?
Our street is a "narrow" non-commercial sandy residential
road. It is not a busy or thorough fare road and dead ends into a
cul-de-sac. There are only 7 other residential houses on it. You might
not see more than 10-15 other cars travel on it in a one day period. You
would cross the narrow road to go "through our own direct beachfront
property". An exclusive patio stone walkway and path has been built for
you to walk along that takes you through our properties lush Caribbean
vegetation. The walk along this pathway is a short leisurely 150 feet
and leads you directly to our beautiful beach and Atlantic Ocean. Once
you arrive, you will find sun loungers, chairs and tables overlooking
the beach and ocean for you to use as you please. |

What is the International
Airport Code?
The airport symbols for the Providenciales Turks and Caicos Islands is “PLS”. |
| |
How do I get from the airport to the beach
villa?
Please click on VILLA DRIVING DIRECTIONS on the left of this page.
It will outline detailed driving instructions to our villa and you can
print it to bring to Providenciales with you. |

Should I rent a car?
Renting a car is recommended so you can explore the other parts of the
island during your stay. Rental car companies will escort you in their
courtesy vehicles from the airport to their car lots and you can get
your rental car from them. You can click on “Activities & Attractions”
on the left side of this page for recommended car rental companies. Your
personal license from your own country allows you to drive in Turks and
Caicos for up to 30 days and no special license is required.IF YOU
ARE NOT LEASING A CAR, we recommend calling “GLORIA’S TAXI” at
649-231-6279 or emailing them at
gloriastaxi@yahoo.com. Gloria’s Taxi is very familiar with our Villa
Complex and special flat rate fees have been negotiated with them so you
do not get any nasty surprises as to the taxi fare that you would pay
when using other taxi operations. Please confirm the rates that you will
be paying directly with them. Their rates are a one price flat rate,
regardless of the number of people in the party that will be traveling.
We recommend that you “pre-arrange” being picked up by Gloria’s Taxi so
that a representative will be waiting at the airport to greet and meet
you and your flight. If possible, you should make arrangements two days
in advance.

bottled water, but should you want to do so, our IGA Grocery Store has
bottled water available at a very reasonable price. |

Do the villas have air conditioning?
Yes, and unlike many other villa rentals we provide it for you AT NO
EXTRA CHARGE. We only ask that you use it only when you need it, and
turn it off when you don’t or are not in the villa. We also ask that
you use water sparingly as it is a very precious and expensive commodity
here in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Electricity is also very expensive
and we ask your consideration in turning off lights that are not needed.
All of the windows and sliding patio doors can be opened and have
screens on them to allow you to enjoy the natural flow of the fresh
ocean breeze and the trade winds that we have every day. Furthermore,
all bedrooms and living rooms have ceiling fans that you can also use as
an option. Always lock your villa doors and windows at night when in
your villa and during the day if you are not in your villa. Please do
not leave accessible windows and doors open. |

island where you can go and get internet access for a fee. Caution: Some

and can cost you almost $5.00 per minute of usage when making a call and
$2.00 per minute of usage when receiving a call. It will be much cheaper
for your family members to call you at your villa. The telephone number
of your villa is noted on your telephone in your own villa. Our area
code in Providenciales is (649). |
| |
What should I do on my last day in the
villa?
Check out time is by 11:00 AM. This is necessary so we can clean and
prepare the villa for the next guests. Please leave the keys on the
kitchen counter in the kitchen and our representative will get them. |
| |
What happens if I have to cancel, arrive
later, or leave earlier than I planned?
Our cancellation policy is 21 days prior to arrival. If you have to
arrive later or leave earlier than you expected we are unable to refund
any monies as there is no guarantee that we can rent the villa again on
such short notice. We also cannot be held accountable for any airline
delays in your arrival or departure times. |
| |
Safety Precautions:
Crime can exist. Some simple precautions should deter the most common
problems faced by visitors to the Turks & Caicos Islands. To prevent the
loss of cash, jewelry and identification, do not leave valuables in plain
sight, unattended, in your automobile or on the beach. Always lock your villa
doors and windows and do not leave accessible windows open. Any problems
should be reported immediately to the police department. It is best not
to leave anything of value in your rental car when parking in remote
locations or at marked public beach accesses. Atlantic Ocean Beach
Villas will not be responsible for any accidents or any lost or stolen
items that may take place in your villa or on the property. |
